The Wiki Notion of Open Community Content

Wiki usage quickly and spontaneously shows evidence of two distinct modes of writing: Thread-mode and Document-mode. The latter, unsigned and in third person, is generally viewed by members and visitors as community property, open to modification by anyone. The presentation examines some of the "community" and "shared" aspects of Wiki, and how they seem to be natural consequences of the Wiki model of Open Content, and even promoted by individual stakeholder interests which might otherwise be traditionally viewed as opposed to it.
