What‘s wos?
The Wizards of OS are concerned with the emerging knowledge order of digital media. Their focus is on the potential of PC and Internet for fostering free communication and open collaboration in the creation of knowledge.
The free zones of the digital knowledge order are a phenomenon made up of connective intelligence, of technology and culture, economy and law. By its very nature they have to be approached in a broadly interdiciplinary manner. The wos conferences, workshops and online resources provide a plattform for this meeting of „hard" techno sciences with „soft" cultural and social sciences, of hackers and lawyers, of business people and artists, of activists and politicians.
