rc.fn runcommand reality check freenetworks

Thursday, 10 June 2004, 15:00

The freenetwork workshop intends to make an assessment of the state of the art in wireless free networking. This 'reality check' will be performed on all levels, technically, culturally, socially and in relation to the regulatory environment and industry developments. Short presentations will focus on key projects and concepts, such as BerlinBackBone, Mesh Networking and an international spectrum policy survey. Following those presentations the workshop participants will discuss how to sustain growth of the movement both in terms of quality and quantity and how to connect with other progressive movements and ideas as well as with existing institutions in society.
