Melanie Dulong de Rosnay


Melanie studied Political Science, International and European Law in Lyon, Leipzig and Tilburg. She is preparing a doctorate on copyright legal and technical regulation at CERSA (Research Center in Administrative Science, Computers, Law Linguistics Department, University of Paris 2)
After having participated to the coordination of non-profit cultural initiatives in Lyon, and to a sound and music semantic web European project at IRCAM, Paris, her work is currently shared between several projects: International Creative Commons in France, an interdisciplinary research group using knowledge engineering technologies to build legal ontologies, and the contribution to multimedia standardisation bodies.
She also teached copyright law and presented at several international conferences her position to represent fair use and open access within rights information digital systems.
